Nuturing tomorrow's pro-gamers:
Lenovo was an existing supplier of desktops and laptops to Cégep André-Laurendeau, and responded enthusiastically to the organization’s request for assistance. The organization’s computer labs are kitted out with ThinkCentre desktop PCs, and Cégep André-Laurendeau plans to equip students and teachers with ThinkPad laptops too.
“Lenovo has a great relationship with the education sector and their gaming equipment is excellent, so we were very happy with the proposal,” says M. Desrosiers.
To help bring M. Desrosiers’ vision to life, Lenovo partnered to provide 10 Legion Towers with Phantom Black casing, transparent side panels, and internal aRGB lighting, plus matching Legion Gaming monitors, keyboards, and headsets. The esports hardware is deployed in a strikingly decorated room with black walls and colored lights.

Designing the digital school of the future:
Avgoulea-Linardatou School is a private educational institution located in the western suburbs of Athens, Greece. The organization has its sights set high: aiming to design the school of the future. To achieve this ambition, Avgoulea-Linardatou School looks to harness the latest digital technologies to create innovative learning environments that inspire and engage students. As such, the school has adopted a one-to-one learning model, which involves providing each student with a Lenovo ThinkPad 11e laptop to utilize the organization’s digital infrastructure to its fullest extent. The school is seeing enthusiastic uptake from its student body, with greater engagement and attainment.

Making esports accessible to all:
With interest in esports booming, Ohio University aimed to build gaming into its athletic and academic programs. Supported by Lenovo and technology partner CDW, the university opened a state-of-the-art esports arena equipped with Lenovo Legion gaming towers and monitors. Now the focal point of gaming culture on campus, the esports program is bringing people together, increasing inclusivity, and helping students develop in-demand skills.
Alef Education
Preparing public school students for success:
Ahead of the 2022 academic year, Alef Education was tasked with procuring laptops for public school students starting ninth grade. While other vendors struggled with supply chain shortages, Lenovo was able to guarantee a supply of its ThinkBook 14 devices and deliver them all one month ahead of schedule. Working with a team from Lenovo, Alef Education took advantage of Microsoft Windows Autopilot to eliminate manual device provisioning and achieve a zero-touch deployment. The company successfully delivered all Lenovo laptops to schools well ahead of the new school year, ensuring that learning got off to the smoothest of starts.
